MVP in 6 Weeks: What Founders Should Actually Build First
By Ammad Ahmed7 Jul 20265 min read
Most first products fail not because they were too small, but because they tried to do too much before anyone had used them. A good MVP is not a worse product — it is a sharper one. Here is how we help founders scope a launch-ready MVP in roughly six weeks.
Start with one core loop
Every product has one action that delivers its core value — the "aha" moment. Find yours: for a marketplace it is a completed booking; for a SaaS tool it is the first useful output. Build the shortest path to that moment and nothing that does not serve it yet.
The 6-week cut
- Week 1 — Discovery: goals, users, and the one core loop.
- Week 2 — Design: the key screens and flow, not every edge case.
- Weeks 3–4 — Build: auth, the core loop, and a clean database.
- Week 5 — Polish & integrate: payments or APIs only if essential to the loop.
- Week 6 — Test & launch: real users, real feedback.
What to deliberately leave out
- Admin panels nobody needs yet — you can manage manually at first.
- Settings, teams, and permissions before you have a single active user.
- Native mobile apps when a responsive web app validates the idea faster.
- Custom design systems — a clean, consistent UI is enough to launch.
If you are not slightly embarrassed by your first launch, you shipped too late. Validate, then invest.
